Size of room
Motel room with doors to rooms facing parking lots. Our room was floor level next to the stair well outside. The stairwell was where smokers came to hangout, talk and smoke. The talking was clearly heard in the room at many times during the night. The smoke came in through the window a/c located right at the door. The room smelled like smoke the entire time, the noise of people kept us awake, the noise of the a/c was very loud making it an uncomfortable stay. The facility is fairly aged and although there are some updates, the age shows.

Had a very good stay for our visit to Texas Tech
The breakfast was free and we liked the variety of meals. The hotel is in a convenient location near restaurants, shopping mall, Omni Theater, and a football field. There's a cool Fortune Cookie place nearby that offers great desserts

The price was affordable for last minute.
The room was DIRTY, had the prior guest items and trashed piled in the corner. The floor were nasty and blood was on the sheets. The coffee maker had mold and looked like it had never been cleaned out. Overall a very unhygienic place for a family wirh small kids and definitely will ask for a refund.

The staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The room was very clean. Breakfast wss tasty and fresh. Loved I had options both times I went to breakfast. The front desk staff was helpful when I had a concern and needed some suggestions. Also, the dinning room staff greeted me and was very attentive while I and the other guest were eating breakfast.
The outside gave me hesitation. The pics on the web did not quite look like the location. Also, I don't remember the description share it had outside rooms. Being a female traveling alone, it was uncomfortable having an outside room. However, the staff were very understanding and gave me an inside room. I was very grateful!

The hot breakfast is very good. Several choices to choose from.
The property is older and the rooms need to be remodeled. There is a funky smell when you walk into the foyer from outside.

Unclean and old. Evening meal good but waited a long time for anyone to come to the table to take order. Under staffed
